Yurri Wala Woka (Fresh Water Country) is an immersive performance that combines visual art and design, music and storytelling. It combines the ancient and the contemporary, telling the stories of the flow of the Yurri Wala –fresh water and its people -from the making of the Rivers; Kaiela and Dungula (Goulburn and Murray) and the stories of the Flats.Yurri Wala Woka begins when a small audience arrives at The Connection. You as part of this audience will be treated to an Indigenous inspired meal and introduced to the local history by an Elder before departing together on foot to the secret performance location.
