YOUTH CULTURAL ARTS PROGRAM AT KAIELA ARTS

A series of FREE workshops at Kaiela Arts for local First Nations youth to design and paint their very own skateboard deck.

Hosted by Kaiela Arts Project Coordinator and established artist Tammy-Lee Atkinson, these workshops will inspire participants to learn about and explore local stories and the meaning of Aboriginal cultural marks and symbols whilst working on their skateboard deck.

This free program is open to First Nations youth living in Greater Shepparton aged 8-18 and final creations will be exhibited at Kaiela Arts during NAIDOC week in July 2023.
