Beads of Culture

Hiroko was born in Japan and lived in Australia for ten years. What began as a hobby using paper became a passion and inspiration. Hiroko uses quilling, origami, rolling and folding techniques in the creation of beads and adornment. She loves to share the work she makes and to give away her fun and inspirations.

In the workshops Hiroko Suzuki will share techniques of working with paper to make beads that will contribute to a large sculptural artwork. Her passion for using many kinds of paper expresses itself through quilling and laminating specialty and ordinary papers resulting in extraordinary outcomes. This workshop is free, fun and inspirational….. Come along and get involved!
