Sam is a proud Yorta Yorta artist who grew up on Yorta Yorta Country in Shepparton. Deeply connected to culture, community, and Country, they bring warmth, creativity, and care to everything they do. Currently working at Kaiela Arts, Sam supports local artists and community through their everyday work, but their passion for art goes far beyond the workplace.
From a young age, Sam has always been a creative soul—drawn to storytelling, colour, and the power of visual expression. Their journey in the arts has been shaped by a deep love for culture and a commitment to making space for others to share their voices. Having previously worked at the Shepparton Art Museum, Sam continues to grow their presence in the arts world, driven by a belief in the strength of community and the importance of connection.
