Come and experience what Kaiela Arts is all about as the studio opens its doors to the broader community for some special cultural arts workshops during Shepparton Arts Festival.
Weaving with Raffia
Weaving is a knowledge passed down through generations, strengthening identity, kinship and ties to Country. Experience what it means to sit, weave and yarn together and learn some simple techniques with local First Nations artists. Using natural and dyed raffia you will learn how to create your own small basket, wall piece or bracelet.
