We warmly invite our Aboriginal artist members to explore and refine their printmaking skills ahead of the nationally recognised 2025 Monoprint Prize. Both workshops are the same and artist are welcome to do one or both.

This hands-on session is for artists of all levels to build on their skills, connect with fellow creatives, and receive guidance from the Kaiela Arts’ team to create distinctive and award-worthy monoprints.

Led by studio manager, Tarn Parker, the workshop includes:

an overview of the 2025 Monoprint Prize, a review of entry requirements and clarifying any questions artists may have about the submission process
demonstrations of key monoprint techniques and creative approaches
time to experiment using the monoprint process with guidance, tips, and feedback from Tarn

Artists will have the opportunity to network, share insights and discuss progress together.

Afterwards, participants will complete their prints and entry forms and prepare their submissions for the 2025 Monoprint Prize.
