You are invited to participate in this exciting project is designed to uncover practitioners of traditional cultural beading skills of the many cultural groups who live within the Goulburn Valley Region. Beads of Culture project will start with the bead traditions of local Aboriginal people. Artist Kerry Plozza has been facilitating the workshops and liaising with skilled practitioners from a range of culture who are skilled in their craft. The outcome will be a large exhibition at Kaiela Arts – opening on 31 August 2018 that will express diverse cultures coming together in a stunningly beautiful & contemporary installation. Come along and learn some new skills, meet new friends and have fun.
