Afternoon Tea with artist Maree Clarke
Join the Kaiela Arts team for a relaxed Community Gathering with Yorta Yorta, Wamba Wamba, Mutti Mutti and Boonwurrung artist Maree Clarke and Cummeragunja community members, Bryan Andy and Uncle Col Walker.
Come along, share a cuppa, and have a yarn as Maree talks about the Kaiela Arts Editions project and her time spent on Yorta Yorta Country meeting with community and connecting back to place at Cummeragunja.
This is an opportunity to come together as a community, celebrate connection, and hear firsthand how Maree’s work continues to honour culture, memory, and Country through her creative practice.
Cummeragunja community members, Bryan Andy and Uncle Col Walker, will also join Maree in conversation, offering local reflections and stories about the project and its importance to community and place.
Everyone is welcome – come sit, listen, and share in an afternoon of conversation, art, and connection.
