Are you an Aboriginal woman who dreams about starting or growing a business?

Good news! There’s a safe and friendly way to start your business journey and you can bring family and friends along to support you.

You are invited to join ‘My Big Idea’ workshop being hosted by Kaiela Arts where you can find ways to explore your business ideas and bring them to life.

What will the workshop cover?

‘My Big Idea’ will be presented by Global Sisters, an organisation that is all about making business possible for women.

Global Sisters provides women with the tools, networks and resources to accelerate an idea into a thriving business.

Global Sisters has designed this half-day workshop to help women FIND the ‘big idea’ that they want to turn into a business. The workshop format offers you an opportunity to test and consider various business concepts in a safe, respectful space. It is perfect for those without an idea, with too many ideas or with a very early stage business hunch.

What happens next?

Global Sisters if offering ‘My Big Idea’ as part of a business start-up project for Aboriginal women in regional Victoria that is being supported by Launch Vic .

If you wish to continue building on your idea after the ‘My Big Idea’ workshop, you can progress to Sister School – an intensive and practical business education program also offered by Global Sisters. You can then continue on through a program which incorporates ongoing business education, expert coaching, technology, microfinance, sales and marketing support, and become part of our Sister Tribe.
