Campfire is a curatorial concept connecting artists and experts through campfire events held on the banks of the Goulburn River.

Trees supplying the wood for the campfires are carefully chosen and pigments created from the residual charcoal are later used to create the finished artworks. The process infuses the artwork with a distinctive voice emerging from the artists personal experiences of country, research, collaboration and learning.
