Kaiela Arts Editions launches this November with Maree Clarke!
Join us to celebrate the release of an exclusive, newly commissioned silkscreen print by internationally renowned First Nations artist Maree Clarke (Mutti Mutti, Yorta Yorta, Boon Wurrung, and Wemba Wemba).
Over the past 12 months, Maree has spent significant time on Yorta Yorta Country, connecting with our local community and sharing historical and cultural knowledge. From these conversations, and in collaboration with Spacecraft Melbourne, she has created a limited edition of 40 hand-printed silkscreen prints on archival quality paper, using inks created from ochres and charcoal collected from trips to Barmah and Cummeragunja. This work presents a rare opportunity to own a meaningful work from a prominent, contemporary Aboriginal artist.
Come and celebrate with us and be the first to purchase a print!
