KNOW YOUR ARTIST RIGHTS YARN
Presented by ArtsLaw – Artists in the Black
Thursday 23 November, 11am – 12.30pm
Kaiela Arts Studio, 530 Wyndham St, Shepparton
First Nations artists are invited to join Kaiela Arts and ArtsLaw’s Suzanne Derry (Head of Innovation, Growth and Engagement / Senior Solicitor) and Jo-Anne Driessens (Coordinator Artists in the Black) for an informal meet and greet and introduction to artist rights.
Start learning how to protect your art and your copyright so you are on the front foot when someone wants to use or buy your work. And with changes to the law around Indigenous Cultural and Intellectual Property on the horizon, you can learn more about what to do in the meantime to protect the culture and knowledge in your work.
