I was born in Wangaratta and have lived in Cobram all my life. I love painting, drawing, music and dancing. I love drawing with chalk outside and making potions. I also love to make jewellery using things I find.
April Atkinson is a Yorta Yorta artist who loves painting symbols and rivers as they remind her of the old camping days. Born on Wemba Wemba Country and raised on Yorta Yorta Country, April uses posca paint pens and acrylic paint and has recently been part of the Deadly Decks workshops as an artist facilitator
