Kaiela Arts is seeking a dynamic new Marketing and Administration Coordinator

The Administration and Marketing Coordinator role at Kaiela Arts is a unique opportunity to work alongside local Aboriginal artists and community to support their practice and sustainability of the art centre.

We are looking for someone who is committed to achieving positive outcomes, who has knowledge of the arts, who has excellent communication, collaboration and organisational skills, and who has previous experience in administration and/or marketing roles.

The position is part time 3 days per week and will work closely with a small team to deliver a range of creative and cultural arts projects, programs, exhibitions, events and services.

  • $55,000 – 65,000 per annum pro rata (depending on experience and qualifications) plus superannuation.
  • 21 hrs p/w, 12 months fixed term commencing in early July 2023.

Kaiela Arts offers an accessible exhibition, studio and social space for local First Nations artists to connect, create and share art. The centre is a welcoming environment for everyone to learn about Aboriginal cultural arts. 

The Administration and Marketing Coordinator position will support the delivery of Kaiela Arts day to day operations through a range of administrative, technological and marketing tasks. The position will be based at Kaiela Arts in Shepparton and will include the following responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support office, gallery and studio administration
  • Support the Kaiela Arts team with the delivery of programs and events
  • Provide operational support to the Manager and Kaiela Arts Board
  • Coordinate the design, creation and distribution of marketing collateral
  • Coordinate development and delivery of organisational and event communications
  • Support maintenance of the Kaiela Arts website and database
  • Assist with documentation and collecting data for evaluation and reporting.
  • Contribute actively to an organisational culture of safe working, collaboration and sustainability.
