Kaiela Arts offers a range of workshops to both Aboriginal artists and non-indigenous community members, to facilitate intercultural immersion and understanding.
We provide a large workshop space for our artists to foster creativity, as well as providing space for sessions with the wider community – Our women’s’ weaving workshops are especially successful in sharing cultural backgrounds, through sharing food, cups of tea and informal yarning.
Our public workshops also offer the wider community the chance to connect with the region’s Aboriginal culture and history, and strengthen relationships and understanding. Bookings are essential for these sessions. Email firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on (03) 5821 9842 to make a booking.
