Bupolga Collection Launch
By Chloe Jones, Gallery Manager/Curator
Earlier this month, we proudly celebrated the launch of our Bupolga Collection – our 2026 winter release of limited-edition screen prints and handmade ceramics by our senior and younger artists.
It was a special evening shared with artists, Elders, family, friends and supporters, marking not only the unveiling of a new body of work, but a celebration of culture, community and the continuation of Yorta Yorta storytelling. A powerful performance by Glennys Briggs, Ian Muir, alongside Ebony Joachim in language, reminded us of the importance of language revitalisation and the stories that continue to connect us to Country and one another.

Following the launch, the Bupolga Collection travelled to the National Indigenous Art Fair in Sydney, where it was warmly received by new audiences from across the country. Seeing the collection presented on a national stage was an exciting milestone for both the participating artists and Kaiela Arts, and we’re grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating and supporting this important body of work.
