Kirsty Baksh is a proud Yorta Yorta/Dja Dja Wurrung woman and mother. Living in Shepparton, she has a keen interest in river landscapes and she enjoys experimenting with a range of art themes that relate to her experience of country. In 2015 she started studying visual art at the Centre for Koorie Education, GOTAFE in Shepparton. After successfully completing her Certificate 11, in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Cultural Arts she is now enrolled in Certificate 111 in Visual Arts. She works in a range of 2D art mediums and has worked on public art projects in Shepparton.
